Michael and Lauren Maurice, of York, Pa., announce the birth of their first child. Ryan Michael Maurice arrived Aug. 15 in York Hospital at 4:58 p.m. He weighed 4 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.
Catonsville residents Gene and Dottie Maurice are his grandparents, as are Stuart and Patti Stone, of Leonardtown.
Ryan's great-grandmothers are Rita Sanders, of Catonsville; Dorothy Kinnard, of Glen Burnie; Dorothy Black, of Manchester, and Dorothy Stone, of Hampstead.
