Tim considers himself a "backpack journalist" with the ability to write stories, keep his own stats and shoot and edit his own videos. He has been the high school wrestling beat reporter for The Baltimore Sun since 2014, in which he is in charge of putting together the wrestling preview, weekly rankings and All-Metro teams.
