Erika Butler joined The Aegis as a reporter in 1994, just a few months out of college. She has served as an editor since the late 1990s, first of The Record, then coordinating news and later features, which she does today. Erika has covered just about every county government meeting in her 20 years and written on hundreds of different topics of interest to Harford County residents. She has lived in most of her life in Harford County, growing up in Fallston then living in various places in Bel Air. Erika is married with two children and enjoys running and reading.
