An award winning editor, investigative reporter and columnist, Kimber Allan Matzinger-Vought has been a professional journalist for 44 years, covering such diverse stories as Maryland's 1970s political scandals, the collapse of the state savings and loan industry, problems with Harford County's health care system and terrorism and public safety issues. He coordinates news coverage for The Aegis and The Record in Harford County. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, he holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwestern University. He lives in Fallston and enjoys hiking, gardening, music and reading.
With the 2018 state and county election results in the book, the Harford County Board of Education membership will take on a mostly lame duck status for the next seven months, with a majority of its members due to leave next June.
All things being equal, Harford County Public Schools would need almost $35 million in additional funding to operate during the next school year in 2019-20 — an increase almost certain not to happen — Superintendent Dr. Sean Bulson said.
