Man assaulted, injured in Lansdowne robbery

A 32-year-old man suffered injuries to the head and leg and was robbed on the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle Thursday, Oct. 13 shortly before 8 p.m., according to Baltimore County police.

Police spokeswoman Det. Cathy Batton said the man was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Two men wearing masks approached the man on the street and hit him in the head, possibly with an object such as a baseball bat, Batton said.

Police have little information about the suspects and do not know what was stolen, Batton said.

It is unclear if the victim lived in the area, she said.

The police ask anyone with information about the man to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.

Callers to Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may receive an award of up to $2,000.
