Lansdowne man arrested for murder in Alabama returned to Baltimore County Nov. 3

A Lansdowne man arrested for murder on Oct. 19 in Mobile County, Ala., waived extradition and returned to Baltimore County on Nov. 3, according to a release from county police.

Larry Eugene Horton, 37, of the 700 block of Rambo Court, is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson, police said.

Police charged Horton with first-degree murder for the Oct. 12 death of 18-year-old Ryan Wesley Jackson, of the 3600 block of West Bay Avenue, in Brooklyn.

Baltimore city police found Jackson dead on the 5500 block of Pennington Avenue, in Baltimore, with hatchet wounds on Oct. 15.

Horton's wife, Angelena, remains in Alabama, but will return to Maryland at a future date, according to the release.

She was arrested for violating probation, but was not charged in Jackson's murder, according to the release.
