Arbutus volunteers among responders to accident on Baltimore Beltway in Catonsville

Among the 67 calls the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received for medical and fire-rescue service Dec. 4-12, were the following:

East Drive, 5300 block, 5:15 p.m. Dec. 9. Crews responded to the report of a sick person in Arbutus and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.

Circle Drive, 900 block, 11:21 p.m. Dec. 8. Crews responded to the report of a person with an unknown illness in Arbutus and transported one critically ill person to a local hospital.

Interstate 695 between exits 11 and 12, 8:47 a.m. Dec. 7. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Catonsville career station responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident on the Baltimore Beltway in Catonsville and found property damage but no injuries.

Brady Avenue, 1900 block, 5:29 p.m. Dec. 7. Crews from the Arbutus, English Consul, and Violetville volunteer stations and Halethorpe and Westview career stations responded to the report of a building fire in Halethorpe and extinguished a garage fire.

1st Avenue, 300 block, 9:28 a.m. Dec. 6. Crews from the Lansdowne and Arbutus volunteer stations responded to the report of a person in Lansdowne suffering chest pain and transported one seriously ill person to a local hospital.
