Interstate 695 between exits 12 and 13, 9:06 p.m. Aug. 17. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe and Woodlawn career stations responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident with injury in Catonsville. Four seriously injured people taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Poplar Avenue, 1300 block, 5:22 p.m. Aug. 15. Crews from the Arbutus and Violetville volunteer stations and Catonsville and Halethorpe career stations responded to the report of a dwelling fire in Arbutus. An attic fire was extinguished.
Hollins Ferry Road at Interstate 895, 2:43 p.m. Aug.15. Crews from the Arbutus and Lansdowne volunteer stations and Catonsville and Halethorpe career stations responded to the report of a truck fire in Halethorpe. A box truck fire was extinguished.
Halethorpe Farms Road at Hollins Ferry Road, 9:32 a.m. Aug. 15. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to a request for a swift water rescue in Halethorpe and found the water had receded and the stalled vehicle was able to proceed.
Winans Avenue, 1700 block, 8:49 a.m. Aug. 15. Crews from the Arbutus and Middle River volunteer stations and Halethorpe career station responded to a request for a swift water rescue in Halethorpe and found the water had receded and the victim was able to get out of the vehicle.
