Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department's fire-rescue log

Among the 57 calls for medical and fire-rescue service the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received July 10-17 were the following:

West Patapsco Avenue, 700 block, 11:28 p.m. July 15. Crews from the English Consul and Arbutus volunteer stations responded to the report of an assault in English Consul. One seriously injured person taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma center.

Interstate 95 between exits 46-47, 6:12 p.m. July 15. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident on the interstate in Halethorpe. One person with non-life-threatening injuries taken to a local hospital.

Washington Boulevard, 7400 block, 10:26 p.m. July 13. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a building fire in Elkridge and assisted units in extinguishing a warehouse fire.

Courtney Road, 900 block, 8:39 p.m. July 12. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Halethorpe career station responded to the report of a woman giving birth in Arbutus. One person transported to a local hospital.

Ingleside Avenue at Edmondson Avenue, 4:10 p.m. July 11. A motor vehicle accident with injury was reported. Crews from the Arbutus and Woodlawn volunteer stations responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident in Catonsville. One seriously injured person taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. One person with non-life-threatening injuries taken to a local hospital.
