Among the received 65 calls the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department received for medical and fire-rescue service during the period Feb. 5-12 were the following:
Hillside Avenue, 4400 block, 5:23 p.m. Feb. 9. Crews responded to the report of a natural gas leak in Arbutus. No leak was found.
St. Charles Avenue, 900 block, 4:04 p.m. Feb. 8. Crews from the Arbutus and Violetville volunteer stations responded to the report of a person going into cardiac arrest in Arbutus. They arrived to find the person had died.
Benson Avenue, 4800 block, noon Feb. 8. Crews from the Violetville and Arbutus volunteer stations responded to the report of a person bleeding in Violetville. One seriously injured person taken to a local hospital.
Linda Drive, 700 block, 9:02 a.m. Feb. 8. Crews from the Arbutus volunteer station and Catonsville career station responded to the report of a person going into cardiac arrest in Catonsville. One critically ill person taken to a local hospital.
Wilkens Avenue at Beechfield Avenue, 2:35 p.m. Feb. 6. Crews responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident in Arbutus and found property damage, but no injuries.
