Research Avenue, 2300 block, 6:25-6:29 p.m., Dec. 25. Side door to residence kicked in. Man arrested and charged with first-degree attempted burglary, fourth-degree theft and destruction of property.
Clover Avenue, 3500 block, 4-9:30 p.m., Dec. 25. Side door of unattached garage of residence kicked in. Four rims, welder, car radio and tools stolen.
McDowell Lane, 3800 block, noon-1 p.m., Dec. 23. TV and computer stolen from residence.
Songbird Circle, 3800 block, between 5:15 a.m., Dec. 22 and 12:24 a.m., Dec. 23. Sheets taken off bed, food eaten and closet ransacked at residence. Gold-and-diamond engagement ring and blue bowl stolen.
Fairview Avenue and Washington Boulevard, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Dec. 21. Woman walking grabbed by a man who pulled her between two houses, told her he had knife. He punched her in head, knocking her unconscious and when she awoke, her pants were around her knees and her purse was stolen.
Bigley Avenue, 400 block, 3-3:30 p.m., Dec. 21. Glass of rear door of residence broken. Video game system and money stolen.
Elizabeth Avenue, unit block, 6:40-7:04 p.m., Dec. 20. Door from garage that led to residence damaged.
Virginia Avenue, 2500 block, between 4:30 p.m., Dec. 19 and 1:30 a.m., Dec. 20. Two TVs, iPad, two video game systems, eight video games and jewelry stolen from residence.
Twin Springs Road, 1700 block, between 6 p.m., Dec. 16 and 6 a.m., Dec. 19. Hole cut in construction site fence. Copper stolen from Whitney-Turner Steel.
