Man assaults stepson with metal scooter

Allcroft Road, 5600 block, 7:15-8:30 p.m., Sept. 10. Metal lawn bench stolen from back yard.

Ryerson Circle, 3200 block, 2 a.m., Sept. 10. A woman went to a bar with four friends, ordered a soda and does not remember anything until 2 a.m. At that time, she awoke and found articles of clothing missing. She reported a sexual offense at St. Agnes Hospital.

Tartarian Court, 3200 block, 8:23 p.m., Sept. 9. Man assaulted his stepson with metal scooter. Man arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

Fifth Avenue, 700 block, 9:55 a.m., Sept. 9. Woman pointed a black handgun at a man and stole his money.

Fifth Avenue, 600 block, from 3 p.m., Sept. 7 to 3 p.m., Sept. 8. Rear window screen removed and window forced open. Television, four boxes of tools and vacuum taken.

Washington Boulevard, 3900 block, 12-2:30 p.m., Sept. 8.Twenty-eight bronze name plates stolen from United Hebrew Cemetery. Man confessed to taking them and items recovered. No arrest made.

Spring Avenue, 4400 block, 7:50 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Sept. 7. Several items, including a 65-inch television, stolen.

Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block, July 1-9:25 a.m. Sept. 7. Man found by woman to be sleeping in her apartment awoke and fled through rear window.

Rambo Court, 700 block, 2 p.m., Sept. 6-9 a.m., Sept. 7. Vacant house entered. Door knobs and deadbolt lock removed from front door. An impact driver, two cordless drills, drill batteries and a door lock set stolen.
