Crime Log: 1st Mariner Bank robbed in Arbutus

Alabama Avenue, 2900 block, 7:30-6:45 p.m., Aug. 30. Bicycle stolen from front porch.

Washington Boulevard, 3700 block, 3:21 p.m., Aug. 29. Man entered 1st Mariner Bank and pointed black handgun at teller and demanded money. Man climbed onto counter, reached into cash drawer and took money. He also demanded and received money from another teller, then left. Man is described as white, 20 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall, 163 pounds, brown hair and sideburns with cuts on his face.

Maiden Choice Lane, 1000 block, 10-11:13 p.m., Aug. 28. Front window of Whalen's Irish Sports Pub broken. Unknown amount of alcoholic beverages removed.

Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block, 5 p.m., Aug. 26-3 p.m., Aug. 29. Drawer in bedroom emptied. Nothing stolen.

Fifth Avenue, 600 block, 4-5:21 p.m., Aug. 28. Door forced open. Nothing stolen.

Ten Oaks Road, 1200 block, 10 a.m., Aug. 26-8 a.m., Aug. 28. Padlock of garage door and chain inside garage cut. Lawn mower and outboard motor stolen.
