Shiloh Court, 3100 block, 12:01 a.m., Aug. 15. 2008 50cc TOMOS motor scooter stolen from front porch.
Washington Boulevard, 3700 block, 1:30 a.m. to 6:52 a.m., Aug. 14. Two men shattered side glass door to Gianni's Italian Bistro. Money and portable air conditioning unit stolen
Freeway, 3000 block, 9-9:30 p.m., Aug. 12. Purple 18-inch Mongoose bicycle with two silver front pegs stolen from front yard.
Ruby Avenue, 4800 block, 1:01 a.m., Aug. 12. Two lock hasps destroyed and shed doors pried open. Nothing found missing.
Washington Boulevard, 4400 block, 12:30 a.m., Aug. 12. Man took woman to Tim's Motel. Woman left room and returned 20 minutes later. She opened door and allowed two men with towels over their faces to come in. One man had a knife. Property stolen from man in room. Robbers fled with woman. Woman wore green shirt and blue jeans and is 5-foot-6 with blond hair and a medium build. Men 5-foot-6 and thin. One wore a black hat.
Poplar Avenue, 1200 block, 11 a.m. Aug. 7 to 6 p.m., Aug. 11. Light fixture stolen from kitchen and water heater stolen from basement.
Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block, 10:10 a.m., Aug. 11. Two men with a handgun stole backpack from man that contained two iPods and a wallet.
Bero Road and Bigley Avenue, 10 p.m., Aug. 10. Two men with a black handgun with a silencer approached two other men walking on Bero Road and told them to empty their pockets. Two wallets, identification card, cash and GPS stolen.
Washington Boulevard, 3600 block, 1:56 p.m., Aug. 10. Man in black Honda Prelude pulled up next to woman while she unloaded groceries, asked for directions and attempted to grab woman's purse. Man drove away without purse.
Hollins Ferry Road, 4100 block, 3 a.m. to 10:11 a.m., Aug. 10. Black bicycle and red, gold and black Mongoose bicycle taken from yard.
East Drive, 5400 block, 2 a.m. to 9 a.m., Aug. 10. Rear of Domino's Pizza broken and money stolen from safe.
Bigley Avenue, 400 block, 8 p.m., Aug. 9. During an argument, man tried to stab his sister with 10-inch knife. The argument continued outside where man cut his sister on hand. The man dropped knife when his sister hit his hand with a shovel. Man arrested.
Twin Circle Way, 4100 block, 10:39 a.m., Aug. 9. Vacant house entered but no damage done.
Ryerson Circle, 3200 block, 11 p.m. to 11:49 p.m., Aug. 7. Green Lawn-Boy lawn mower stolen from yard.
