Woman who broke into house found asleep in living room

Rosalie Road, 3200 block, 11 p.m. to 11:10 p.m., Aug. 6. Cardboard covering window of residence pushed aside. Intruder fell asleep in living room. Woman arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary.

Maple Avenue, 1200 block, 10:30 p.m., Aug. 5 to 11 a.m., Aug. 6. Blue 24-inch blue Roadmaster bicycle and a 22-inch Magna bicycle stolen from fenced-in yard.

Arbutus Avenue, 2700 block, 4:05 p.m., Aug. 5. Two white males entered side yard of residence in a white truck and cut the copper pipe on air conditioning unit. When neighbors came out, the two drove off down Annapolis Road.

Rosalie Road, 3200 block, 1:57 p.m., Aug. 5. Rear window of residence broken and back door unlocked. Cash from piggy bank in bedroom stolen.

Coolidge Avenue, 3900 block, 12:01 a.m. to 1:34 a.m., Aug. 5. Copper and aluminum scrap stolen from Mid Atlantic Metals. One man arrested at scene. Another man arrested a short distance away. Both men charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary and two counts of theft of items less than $1,000.

Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block, 10 p.m., Aug. 4 to 10 a.m., Aug. 5. Vacant apartment entered. Nothing reported stolen.

Circle Drive, 1100 block, 5:45 p.m. to 8 p.m., Aug. 4. Trash bags torn open in residence, fish tank turned off and lights turned on. Unknown if anything was stolen.

Coolidge Avenue, 3900 block, 12:01 a.m. to 1:12 a.m., Aug. 4. Copper and aluminum stolen from Mid Atlantic Metals.

Tartarian Court, 3200 block, 6:19 p.m, Aug. 3. Juvenile seen entering front yard of residence and taking red and silver scooter from yard. Resident told about incident then called juvenile's mother. Scooter returned.

Victory Drive, 1900 block, 1 p.m., Aug. 1 to 6:30 p.m., Aug. 2. Rear window of residence broken after screen removed and destroyed. Dead bolt sawed out and bottom lock pried, but no entry gained.
