Bigley Avenue, 400 block, 2:12 p.m., July 30. During domestic dispute, woman stabbed boyfriend in arm with kitchen knife. Knife with blood on it recovered. Man declined medical attention. Woman arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault.
Oak Road, 4200 block, 4:08 a.m., July 30. Man walking to store approached by four males who assaulted him and stole his wallet, money and cell phone. Four fled on foot.
Twin Circle Way, 4100 block, 11:40-11:47 p.m., July 29. During domestic dispute with woman, man stabbed another man who tried to intervene. Man with knife also broke two windows at residence, shattered windshield and dented woman's vehicle. Man kicked two officers during arrest. He was charged with first- and second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property of greater than $500 value.
Georgia Avenue, 2800 block, 5:30 a.m., July 23 to 11:30 a.m., July 27. Window of house broken to gain entry through rear door. Television, necklaces and rings stolen. House ransacked.
McDowell Lane, 4200 block, 4:25-4:29 p.m., July 26. Man entered house and stole pet stroller, two leather jackets, glass tissue box and glass juice jar. He told police officer who stopped him as he exited through rear door that he had permission to take stroller from resident's son. He did not have permission to enter residence. He was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and theft of less than $1,000 value.
Colony Hill Court, unit block, 9:23 p.m., July 25. Two men with handguns forced their way into residence and ransacked two bedrooms. Two men and one woman in residence during incident. Cell phones stolen from both men and one wallet stolen. Robbers fled through rear door.
Freeway, 10:05-11:05 p.m., July 25. Near the Interstate-295 footbridge, 16-year-old boy robbed by two men at gunpoint. Cell phone stolen. He later heard something that sounded like gunshot.
Washington Boulevard, 4700 block, 3:45-3:56 p.m., July 24. Man and woman attempting to steal rusted steel platform from side of property stopped by resident. Couple fled without stealing anything, but were stopped and identified at intersection of Washington Boulevard and Lansdowne Road.
Hollins Ferry Road, 3800 block, 6:40-6:45 p.m. , July 25. Fourteen-year-old boy skateboarding at Lansdowne High School approached by two teenage boys, who asked him for money. He said he didn't have any and tried to walk away. One robber punched him in the head and he fell to ground. One robber held him down and told the other to go through boy's pockets. Cell phone stolen.
Hollins Ferry Road, 4300 block, 12:05 a.m., July 28. Two men attempted to enter Charm City Liquors by breaking wooden wall in back of store with crow bar. Alarm sounded and they fled. Glove found at scene linked them to crime when they were arrested in relation to July 27 incident at Lansdowne High School. Two charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary/tools, malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000 value, and theft less than $100 value.
Hollins Ferry Road, 3800 block, 10:48 p.m., July 27. Two men opened window and cut screen to enter Lansdowne High School. Metal box, DVD and USB interface kit stolen. Two bags used to carry out items. Officer recognized one man as former student. He and the other man were later arrested after glove found at scene matched glove in July 28 incident. Two charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary/tools, malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000 value, and theft less than $100 value in relation to both crimes.
Lakebrook Circle, 2900 block, noon, July 25 to 10:45 a.m., July 28. Window screen cut to gain entry through cracked window. Couch moved in front of door to block entry. Furniture rearranged and closets ransacked. Flat-screen television, PlayStation game system and six video games stolen.
