Armed men robbed Latin Connection eatery Saturday night

The following is compiled from local police reports.

Benson Avenue, 4800 block, 3-5:15 a.m., July 20. Side window of Fish Head Cantina broken. Cash register and deposit box broken open and money stolen. Thief left through broken window.

Annapolis Road, 4200 block, 9:40 p.m., July 21. Four robbers entered the Latin Connection armed two long guns and handgun and demanded money. Money stolen from drawer. Robbers fled in vehicle. Three robbers described as 6-foot-1 black males, between ages 22 to 25 with medium builds. One weighed about 150 pounds and wore black and white clothing. Another weighed about 170 pounds and wore black clothing and red hat. Third weighed about 150 pounds and wore yellow hat. Fourth robber described as white male wearing red mask.

Wilkens Avenue, 4600 block, 11:15 a.m., July 19. Male entered M&T Bank and passed note to teller demanding money or threatening to start shooting. Robber took money and fled on foot. He is described as 5-foot black male wearing grey sweats with red and blue hood.

Wilkens Avenue, 4000 block, 1:10-1:14 a.m., July 18. Man in front of Royal Farms convenience store approached by robber with a handgun who forcefully took iPod out of his hands then fled southbound on Leeds Avenue.

Leeds Avenue, 4600 block, 7:30 p.m., July 18 to 10:30 p.m., July 19. Shed broken into. Lawn mower, bicycle and tool box stolen.

Wilkens Avenue, 4400 block, 1:25 a.m., July 18. Rear library window broken at Our Lady of Victory School. No entry gained. Nothing stolen.

Lansdowne Road, 2400 block, 6:30 p.m., July 15 to 8 a.m., July 18. Lansdowne Middle School entered through unlocked door on roof. Person crawled through duct work, leaving shoe prints. Nothing stolen.

McDowell Lane, 3700 block, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., July 18. Residence entered through rear window and door. Window screen cut and door and window found open. Three tool bags full of tools, PlayStation and 20 video games stolen.
