Arbutus crime log: Burglar steals beer from fenced-in yard in Baltimore Highlands

Wilkens Avenue, 4600 block, 9:40 p.m., June 17. Police report man in a black ski mask approached woman at ATM and demanded money while pointing a black revolver at her back. Woman said she had no money. Man fled.

Ohio Avenue, 2900 block, between 11 p.m., June 11 and 7 a.m., June 17. Beer stolen from fenced-in yard of residence.

McDowell Lane, 3900 block, between 7 p.m., June 16 and 1:26 a.m., June 17. Police report man broke into vacant property and punched through drywall and ripped it apart.

Gehb Avenue, 2500 block, 2:30-4 a.m., June 16. Chain securing motor scooter in yard of residence cut. Scooter stolen.

Hammonds Ferry Road, 3200 block, 12:42 a.m., June 16. Hole cut in fence of Penske Truck Rental and 11 truck batteries stolen. Police report officer saw theft in progress and arrested man. Man charged with two counts of fourth-degree burglary, theft and rogue and vagabond.

Annapolis Road, 4500 block, between 10:30 p.m., June 14 and 9:15 a.m., June 15. Rear door of Three Bears Carry Out pried open. Cash stolen. Hole smashed into the drywall.

Hollins Ferry Road, 3900 block, 1-1:20 a.m., June 15. Cigarettes and cell phones stolen from Dollar King. Ceiling tiles damaged.
