• Turkey with dressing, gravy, potatoes, vegetables, hot breads, cranberries, pies and assorted beverages are on Halethorpe-Relay United Methodist Church's menu at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 4513 Ridge Ave. Tickets cost $12 for adults; $8 for ages 4-12; free to younger diners.

A live auction follows: Bid on a condo weekend in Ocean City, Bakery Express gourmet cakes, Harry Potter train sets, books, collectibles, plumber and painter services, handcrafts, cake of the month, themed baskets and more.

Lansdowne United Methodist Church, 114 Laverne Ave., hosts a roast pork dinner from 3:30-7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12. Potatoes with gravy, sauerkraut, beans, applesauce, beets and biscuits precede dessert and coffee. Adults pay $10 at the door; ages 6-12, $5 and free for younger guests. Candies and baked treats sell separately.

Patronage Mother of God Catholic Church, 1260 Stevens Ave., has excellent cooks preparing ethnic specialties, holupki and kolachi, to sell at the parish festival, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19. Other delicacies will be available for hungry diners.

• Arbutus United Methodist Church's ladies sponsor a Happy Holidays Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5. Look for tables filled with unique crafts, baked goods, country store items, jewelry, books, candies, nearly new treasures and toys. A yummy lunch is featured, too.

Our Savior Lutheran Church's 120th anniversary of community ministry begins with a 3:30 p.m. worship celebration Sunday, Nov. 6, at 141 Laverne Ave. Holy Communion, festive music, a walk down Memory Lane and special guests are features of note.
