Football: Maryland Crab Bowl rosters set for Dec. 17 kickoff

The 4th Annual Maryland Crab Bowl, an all-star game between seniors from Baltimore and Washington high schools, will be played on Dec. 17 at Bowie State University at noon with a slew of selectees from area public and private schools on the Charm City squad's roster.

Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference runner-up Calvert Hall leads the way with four players — quarterback Thomas Stuart, running back/linebacker CJ Williams, wideout/defensive back Trevor Williams and defensive back Da'Quan Davis — chosen for the event.

A Conference champion Gilman boasts University of Maryland-bound fullback Kenneth Goins and linebacker Devon Porchia, who has committed to the University of Pittsburgh.

Quarterback Joel Jorgensen and another future Terrapin, lineman Roman Braglio, will represent McDonogh in the contest while a talented trio from Loyola Blakefield, tight end/linebacker Taylor Janoskie, lineman Jordan Horne and wideout Jordan Floyd, also bolster the Baltimore lineup.

Mount St. Joseph lineman Hunter Eubanks and fleet wideout Samuel Benjamin will put their talents on display with Boys' Latin dominating lineman and University of Georgia recruit Greg Pyke.

Public school products in the spotlight inlcude New Town's athletic Shaheem Dowdy, Woodlawn cornerback Juleon Killikelly-Lee, safety Milan BarryPollock and defensive back Sayvon Norman from Eastern Tech, Franklin's superb receiver Ian Thomas and lineman Cyril Nuworsoo, Overlea linebacker Alex Wells, defensive lineman Azubuike Ukandu from Towson and Catonsville's multi-talented Deniko Carter.
