American Legion Post 195 will host a crab feast from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at 2603 Virginia Ave.
In addition to crabs steamed by Craven Crabs, crab soup, beef barbecue, fried chicken, Italian sausage, ham, hot dogs with sauerkraut, corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw, fresh fruit, rolls, sheet cake, coffee and a limited open bar are on the menu.

The Lansdowne-Baltimore Highlands Senior Center, 424 Third Ave., announced a slate of new officers: Marge Miller, president; Betty Watson, vice president; Tina Rodriquez, second vice president; Virginia Mullins, treasurer; Pat Nordin, assistant treasurer; Betty King, second assistant treasurer; Karen Montoro, secretary and Shirley Brohawn, assistant secretary.

Christ United Methodist Church scheduled the fifth annual harvest festival and outdoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, in the parking lot, Brian Street and Florida Avenue. You may rent a vendor spot for $10; $15 with a table.
Entertainment provided by the Kingdom Seekers, a Brooklyn Park praise band, as well as the comedy team of Rudy and Harry. The latter's act includes amazing illusions and a ventriloquist segment.
The English Consul Volunteer Fire Department, Baltimore County Police Department and American Legion Post 195 will also participate in the day's activities.
