A 50-year-old Baltimore man is being held on no bail for violating his probation on two 2006 charges.
James George Uttenreither, of the 2800 block of Echodale Avenue, was charged and found guilty of driving while impaired and driving while his license was suspended license around Route 40 at Route 152 in 2006. He was sentenced later that year with two years, all by two months suspended, and one year, all but two months suspended, and has been under supervised probation.
Uttenreither, District Court Judge Mimi Cooper said during Friday's bail review hearing, has failed to report to his probation supervisor, appear in court, receive drug and alcohol treatment and submit for drug and alcohol testing.
Public Defender Omar Simpson said Uttenreither has never been charged with a violent crime, "but may have some drug issues."
Cooper decided to continue to hold Uttenreither without bail, as was set before the hearing.
