The C. Milton Wright golf team picked up a tri-match victory Thursday on the greens at Chesapeake Bay-Rising Sun Golf Course.
The Mustangs scored 213 to edge host Rising Sun's 218. Aberdeen was a distant third with 315.
CMW was led by the threesome of Stephen Rappe, Shane Harper and Ricky Scheeler, who each carded a 41. Josh Cobo, 44, and Kevin Adams, 46, rounded out the Mustangs scoring.
Rising Sun's Chris Stanta shot a match best 40 to lead the Tigers and teammate Nate Loman shot 41.
Aberdeen's best score was turned in by Hunter Bachman, who shot 48.
Hawks win, but lose
In a tri-match at Geneva Farm Golf Course, host North Harford was the lone team to have a full five player team, earning a win, but the Hawks played a foursome with Edgewood and Elkton, who had four players each.
Elkton won the four-player match with 185, six shots better than North Harford's 191, while Edgewood scored 222.
Elkton's Nate Tulowitzki led all players with a 41 and teammate Wes Price shot 43.
North Harford's top players were John Nagengast and Dan Rhoe, both of whom shot 47. Morgan Ritz added a 48 and Nick Webster shot 49.
Adam Magness shot 46 to pace Edgewood's efforts and Connor Johnson added a 49.
