Super Bowl ring reported stolen in Forest Hill

A Super Bowl ring was reported stolen from a Forest Hill home last week, but police say they have few details.

The victim of the theft notified police on Sept. 30 that someone had stolen jewelry in the past from his home in the 900 block of Yvette Drive.

Among the stolen jewelry was a Super Bowl ring, according to the initial call for police service, which was in the Harford County Sheriff's Office's call log.

The victim told police he suspected someone of the theft and may be pursuing charges on his own, according to Monica Worrell, public information officer for the sheriff's office.

Little further information was available Thursday, including the theft victim's name or whether or not he is associated with any football team that has won a Super Bowl.
