GROVE CITY COLLEGE: Grove City College senior molecular biology major Jordan Moyer, of Bel Air, traveled to Tucson, Ariz., on an Inner City Outreach (ICO) trip with other students from the college in early April. ICO Tucson partnered with Life in Christ Church and The Giving Tree, a local outreach organization. The team led a vacation Bible school program for local children and fed the homeless each night. They also tutored area students and participated in a construction project.

SUSQUEHANNA UNIVERISTY: Amy J. Grem, of Bel Air, was one of 17 students inducted into Lambda Pi Eta at Susquehanna University this spring. Grem is a junior majoring in history and communications with an emphasis in public relations. She is a 2009 graduate of John Carroll School and the daughter of Suzy and Steve Grem. She was also recently elected secretary of Susquehanna University's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) for the 2012-13 academic year. PRSSA provides its members with opportunities for hands-on public relations experience and is designed to prepare college students for work in public relations and related areas. Students who are members of the executive staff participate each year in the national conference of the professional-level Public Relations Society of America.

WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE: Alec Ishak, of Havre de Grace, a junior majoring in robotics engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, recently completed an intensive, applied research project in London for D-Term. The project was titled "Evaluating the 'Conversation Hub' at the London Transport Museum."

VIRGINIA TECH: The following Virginia Tech students were among those honored at the university's fall commencement ceremony Dec. 16, 2011, in Cassell Coliseum: Andrew Seufert, Bel Air, received a bachelor of science degree in wood science and forest products from the College of Natural Resources and Environment; Daniel Collins, Jarrettsville, received a bachelor of science in business degree in hospitality and tourism management from the Pamplin College of Business; Joshua Meeder, Pylesville, received a bachelor of science in electrical engineering degree in electrical engineering from the College of Engineering; Allison Perdue, White Hall, received a bachelor of science degree summa cum laude in applied economic management from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

SUNY OSWEGO: Sarah E. Plotycia, of Bel Air, is scheduled to complete her baccalaureate studies in meteorology this year at SUNY Oswego and will be recognized May 12 at the college's 151st commencement.
