Chester and Kathy Stephens, of Aberdeen, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Elizabeth Stephens, to Charles Marshall Summers Jr., son of Charles and Becky Summers, of Collins Center, N.Y.
The bride to be is a 2006 graduate of Aberdeen High School and received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Towson University. She works as a registered nurse at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Springville-Griffith Institute High School in New York. He is a petty officer first class in the Navy and has been serving for more than seven years.
A summer wedding is being planned.
