On June 30, Allen B. and Candress Polly Hathaway of Havre de Grace renewed their wedding vows celebrating 55 years of marriage. The Rev. Dr. Baron D. Young, pastor of St. James A.M.E. Church on Green Street in Havre de Grace, officiated the renewal service.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by Alex Hathaway Jr., Zack Rhodes and Devin Donaldson. The invocation and scripture were given by Phyllis Rhodes and Shermaine Rayner. Wynona Stanley honored the couple with a solo followed by the groom's brother, Alex Hathaway Sr., offering the blessing over the fellowship reception. First Lady Lisa Wilson-Young assisted the couple with the program.
