Aberdeen police say they are investigating a robbery at Cook Motorcars, in the 1100 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard, that was reported Saturday evening.
A 48-year-old employee of the dealership told police he was walking to his vehicle at about 7 p.m. when he was struck from behind by an unknown person.
The victim said he fell and struck his head, after which the suspect or suspects stole money from him and fled the scene, according to police.
He was transported to Harford Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released, Lt. Fred Budnick of the city's police department said Monday.
Budnick said he did not know what was used to strike the victim.
Investigators are still working to develop suspect descriptions.
