Cab driver robbed in Aberdeen

A cab driver was robbed at gunpoint in Aberdeen Sunday night, the city's police said.

The driver picked up a passenger in the 100 block of Holloway Lane at about 11 p.m. Once in the cab, two more men surrounded the vehicle and demanded money.

One suspect struck the driver in the face, and the second pointed a gun at the driver's head.

Aberdeen police searched the area but have yet to find the suspects, who are described as 16-year-old to 20-year-old black men, ranging in height from 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches. The suspect brandishing the handgun covered his face with a black bandanna.
