Crash at Belcamp Post Office traps one

One person was trapped Tuesday after driving a car into the building that houses the Belcamp Post Office, but emergency personnel say no one required hospitalization.

Around 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, a Dodge Neon drove into the building that houses the post office and a video store in the 4400 block of Pulaski Highway, according to Maryland State Police.

Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene to rescue the occupant, but no one was taken to the hospital, according to Rich Gardiner, public information officer with the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
