New online survey coming for Harford parks and rec

Harford County on Thursday will unveil a public online survey asking residents for their thoughts about parks and rec recreation programs, services and needs.

The survey will be explained during a press conference in Bel Air Thursday morning, during which parks and recreation officials will discuss the updating and revision of their Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan.

In addition to updating that plan, a news release sent out Tuesday afternoon notes that the county will announce an online survey to "gather information on recreation needs and interests of the community."

County Manager of Communications Robert Thomas said Tuesday that he was unable to give any further details about the survey prior to the press conference, which will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at the McFaul Activities Center.
