Compliments for photograph chosen to lead the paper [Letter]

Just have to mention this because it bears out the true meaning of a local newspaper, like the "good old days" if you will.

The wide, clear, "top of  the fold" photograph created by Matt Button, on Page A7 in the June 19 edition of the graduating class at North Harford High School is what local, community oriented newspapers are born to do.

Unfortunately the bottom line often restricts such soft news items.

Not  the case Friday, I did not attend North Harford, but many of the folks in the photograph mean  a great deal to  me.  Well done by  The Aegis. It's  a plain image, packing a powerful punch for many of your readers.
