We wish to sincerely thank the Harford County Council for passing an amendment, 6-1, to Bill 13-22 [regarding the trash transfer station proposal in Joppa]. This amendment will eliminate the very last paragraph of the bill [which left open the possibility the proposal could have been revived]. It was a paragraph that many of us felt was offensive to our Joppa community, and was unnecessary in the bill. Again, many thanks to the Council.
