An 80-year-old woman was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after a Joppa accident Thursday afternoon.
The woman was involved in a single car accident in the late afternoon, Harford Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Monica Worrell said. The accident occurred near Joppa and Trimble roads, she added.
The woman was flown by Maryland State Police Medevac with serious injuries, Worrell said.
