Xtreme state champions

The Harford Xtreme 18U girls fastpitch softball team recently won the USSSA Maryland State Class B Championship at Rockburn Branch Park. The team went 4-0 with two shutouts, averaged 9.25 runs per game and allowed 1.75 runs per game. The defense committed just two errors during the tournament. The wins came over Red Raiders, 13-0; Takoma Fire, 6-2; GORC Lady Wildcats, 6-5; and Maryland Mystics, 12-0.
