Three Harford girls soccer teams – Patterson Mill, Harford Tech and Edgewood – posted shutout wins Monday.
Patterson Mill's Gabby Samra scored the only goal in her team's Monday-night girls soccer matchup, helping the Huskies take a 1-0, home-field victory over the visiting Perry Hall Gators.
Samra scored in the first sudden-death overtime period.
Erin Angelini racked up eight saves in goal for the Huskies.
Tech tops Havre de Grace
The Harford Tech Cobras beat the visiting Havre de Grace Warriors 3-0 Monday.
The hosts led 2-0 after one half of play.
Becca Williams led the way for the Cobras, scoring a pair of goals, while Dana Waskiewicz netted one goal in the win. Jamie Surock and Kersten O'Brien each handed out one assist for the Cobras.
Julie Ranson posted two saves while tending to the Harford Tech goal.
Rams trash Elks
The Edgewood Rams scored early and often in knocking off the Elkton Golden Elks 8-0.
La'Dea Boykin and Caitlin Rankin scored two goals apiece for the Rams, while Morgan Kaseman, Natalee Olah, Alyssa Rankin and T'mya Lawrence tucked away single goals in the win. Olah led the Rams in assists with three, while Kaseman and Alyssa Rankin each put up two. Edgewood's Rebecca Parrish and Autumn Henning were credited with one assist each.
Edgewood goalie Nasia Denegal had three saves.
