North Harford tops Perryville 1-0 in UCBAC girls soccer play

Playing as the visiting team in their Monday night girls soccer showdown, the North Harford Hawks came back from Cecil County with a 1-0 victory over Perryville.

With the game still a scoreless tie after 40 minutes of play, North Harford's Meghan Root sent a pass to teammate Nicole Latgis, who buried a shot in the Panther net for the game-winning tally.

North Harford goalie Emily Briggs posted six saves in the victory.

Perryville's Allison Watson recorded 11 saves in goal.

Rams knock off Indians, 5-4

The host-team Edgewood Rams got the better of the visiting North East Indians on Monday, beating their guests, 5-4.

Ladae Boykin paced the Edgewood offense with a pair of goals, while Natalee Olah, Alyssa Rankin and T'mya Lawrence all scored once in the victory.

Caitlin Rankin and Christina Heinlein each dished out one assist for the Rams.

Cougars win rout

Fallston won big on Monday night, defeating the host-team Elkton Golden Elks 11-0.

Alayna Epstein led the Cougars with a three-goal performance. Heather Summers scored twice in the victory, while Jenna Gover put up two goals as well. Beth Walton, Jamie Harmon, Brianna Worthington and Marissa Walker all found the Elkton goal once.
