Man injures finger in Fallston log splitter accident

A man injured his finger in a log splitter Wednesday evening.

Fallston Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call off Watervale Road of a man with a hand injury, Harford Volunteer Fire and EMS Association Spokesman Dave Williams said Wednesday. The man was transported to an area hospital by ambulance, he added.

Harford County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Monica Worrell confirmed that a 23-year-old man's finger had been stuck in a log splitter, but she did not have any further information.
