C. Milton Wright beat visiting John Carroll, 3-1, in field hockey Monday, a day that Aberdeen, Fallston and Harford Christian were also winners. North Harford was a 1-0 loser.
CMW and John Carroll were scoreless until there were little more than five minutes left in the first half when John Carroll's Fiona McGann scored. Olivia Dunbar had the assist on McGann's goal.
Six minutes into the second half, CMW's Danielle King tied the game, scoring off of an assist from Sarah Nolan.
Nolan scored the game-winning goal after an assist from Emily Jachelski. King scored the game's final goal, this one off of an assist from Sabrina Rhodes.
John Carroll's Jess Krolewski had 10 saves.
FALLSTON bashes Elkton
On the strength of a six-goal first half Monday, Fallston beat visiting Elkton team, 8-0.
Marisa Perfetti, Danielle McDiarmid and Dana Katzenberger scored two goals each. Jordan Wagner scored one goal and had an assist. Sami Carter scored one goal and Lindsay Summers had three assists. Jenna Mosketti, Christina Wright and Courtney Rose each had an assist.
ABERDEEN beats Bo Manor
Aberdeen needed just one goal Monday night to beat visiting Bo Manor, 1-0.
Laurise McMillian scored the game's only goal after taking a feed Isobel Hawes.
HARFORD CHRISTIAN beats EDGEWOOD
Harford Christian's Stephanie Tittel scored the game-winning goal with an assist from Brooke Cullem in the first overtime period, giving the Eagles a 1-0 win over homestanding Edgewood Monday.
Monica Attia had 11 saves for Edgewood.
NORTH HARFORD loses to Dulaney
North Harford held visiting Dulaney to one goal Monday, but the Hawks couldn't score and lost, 1-0.
Abby Phillips had six saves for North Harford.
