Field hockey: North Harford tops Bel Air in Friday action

North Harford picked up a big field hockey victory Friday, defeating the homestanding Bel Air Bobcats, 5-2.

The score was tied at 2 at the half.

Kara Parks scored twice in the victory, while teammates Maddy Dolinar, Emily Eline and Rebecca Rinaca each netted one goal.

Abby Phillips and Amanda Carter split time in goal for the Hawks, racking up four and two saves, respectively.

Taylor Burrier and Sara Teasdale scored for the Bobcats, while Kelsey Jenkens had one assist.

Meghan Mingioni had 12 saves in goal for the Bobcats.

Cobras top Elkton

Playing on the road Friday night, the Harford Tech Cobras shut down the host-team Elkton Golden Elks in a 4-0 victory.

Tyler Bethke led the way, scoring three times in the win, while Lyndsey Endlich had one goal and one assist for the Cobras. Cat Roxas, Raquel Hockaday and Morgan Workman each dished out one assist.

Mustangs shut out Eagles

The C. Milton Wright girls won on the road Friday, knocking off the Bo Manor Eagles, 2-0.

Aberdeen over HdG

The Aberdeen Eagles won Friday night, topping the Havre de Grace Warriors 6-0 in Havre de Grace.

Reese McMillan and Hannah Clipp both scored a team-best two goals for Aberdeen.
