Field hockey: Bel Air, CMW, Fallston and Harford Tech win

Fallston scored just once Monday against visiting Mt. Hebron, but the Cougars made that tally enough and won, 1-0. Bel Air, C. Milton Wright and Harford Tech also won in field hockey Monday.

The lone goal in the Fallston game was scored unassisted by Christina Wright.

In goal for the Cougars, Kristina Baker had five saves.

CMW drops North East

The C. Milton Wright Mustangs went on the road and pounded the North East Indians, 6-0.

Emily Jachelski led the Mustangs with two goals. Brooke Williams had one goal and one assist. Sabrina Rhodes, Katie Gallagher and Danielle King each had a goal. Maggie Gallagher and Forest McCawley each had an assist.

Sydney Rhodes stopped three shots from getting into the CMW goal.

The score was 3-0 at the half.

BEL AIR beats Perryville

The Bel Air Bobcats beat visiting Perryville, 4-1, Monday.

Each team scored once in the first half.

Kelsey Jenkens had one goal and two assists for Bel Air, while Sarah Teesdale scored once and had an assist. Emily Gryglewski and Taylor Burrier each had a goal.

Megan Mingioni had eight saves in goal for the Bobcats.

Perryville's goal was scored by Brooke Hornberger with an assist from Molly Crothers.

HARFORD TECH beats HARFORD CHRISTIAN

The visiting Harford Tech Cobras beat the Harford Christian Eagles, 5-2, Monday.

The Cobras led, 2-1, at the half.

Jordy Testerman scored twice while Lyndsey Endlich and Tyler Bethke each had a goal and an assist. Raquel Hockaday scored once, while fellow Cobra Katie Perzynski had two assists. The Cobras' Marissa Braungart had one assist.

Steph Tittel and Bri Coleman each scored for Harford Christian.

Taylor Bethke had up 10 saves for Harford Tech.
