Patterson Mill rallies to top Towson in overtime field hockey battle

The Patterson Mill Huskies picked up an overtime victory in field hockey Monday night, beating visiting Towson, 2-1, when Linnea Gonzalez scored the game-winner.

The Huskies' first goal was scored by Mariel Castronova, with an assist from Emily Keesling.

Maddie Hedrick had eight saves for Patterson Mill.

Edgewood over HdG

Playing at home Monday, the Edgewood Rams won, 1-0, over Havre de Grace.

The game's lone goal came in the first half when Cynthia Ford scored with an assist from Elissa Dzambasow.

Edgewood goalie Monica Attia had one save.

Tech ties Bo Manor

The Harford Tech Cobras tied visiting Bo Manor, 2-2, Monday night.

Regulation play ended with the score tied at 2 and neither side could score in the sudden-death periods. In penalty strokes, each team scored once. Brooke Fullem scored for Harford Tech.

Lyndsey Endlich scored twice in the game's first half, with assists from Tyler Bethke and Morgan Workman.

Down 2-0 at the half, Bo Manor rallied with its two in the second half.

Taylor Bethke stopped 12 shots for the Cobras, and blocked four of Bo Manor's five penalty strokes.

Eagles shut down

The Aberdeen girls lost Monday night, 4-0, to the host North East Indians. The Eagles trailed, 2-0, at the half.

Hawks topped

The North Harford Hawks suffered lost, 2-1, Friday night by host-team Garrison Forrest. In the game's second frame, North Harford Sarah Rinaca cut Garrison Forrest's lead to 2-1 with a goal, but the Hawks would not be able to find the tying tally before the final whistle sounded.

In goal for North Harford, Abby Phillips was credited with eight saves.
