Fifth Fallston burglary this month may signal trend, police say

Harford County police have identified a fifth burglary that is believed to be related to a string of break-ins in the Fallston area.

Two home were broken into on Feb. 1 on Copperwood Way and two more were burglarized on Feb. 7 on Brandon Hunt Lane; most of them occurred during the daytime and the thieves broke in through the rear entries of the homes, according to police reports.

A fifth burglary was on Feb. 10, in the 2900 block of Moores Road.

That break-in occurred between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The resident returned home to find the basement door open, according to a police report. A television was stolen, as well as a revolver and several pieces of jewelry.
