Two men stabbed New Year's Eve in Edgewood

Two men were stabbed in Edgewood on the same street on New Year's Eve, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

Their injuries were not life-threatening, spokeswoman Monica Worrell said Sunday.

A 21-year-old man from Baltimore, whose exact address was not immediately released, was found at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with lacerations to his upper torso.

The stabbing was reported at 10:40 p.m. New Year's Eve in the 1700 block of Meadowood Court, Worrell said.

Twenty minutes later, a stabbing was reported in the 2100 block of Meadowood Court.

A 31-year-old male from the 1300 block of Harford Square Drive was found with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Shock Trauma and underwent surgery, Worrell said.

"Detectives are trying to determine if they are related," she said of the stabbings. "It does not appear to be gang- or drug-related."
