A 19-year-old Edgewood woman was charged with robbing an acquaintance at gunpoint on their way to a hair appointment Monday.
Keona Browning, 19, of the 500 block of Meadowood Drive in Edgewood, was in a car with two other women to go dye their hair in the 1000 block of Candlewood Court, according to charging documents.
As the woman who was driving pulled away, Browning allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded the driver's money.
The woman who was driving gave her all the money in her purse, and both Browning and the third woman fled the scene.
Deputies found Browning shortly after, and she allegedly admitted to being involved in the robbery.
She was charged with robbery, armed robbery and theft less than $100.
Another woman, Ieshia Smiley, 29, of the 1000 block of Candlewood Court in Edgewood, was also arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of vandalism.
