Harford County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who shot someone in Edgewood early Wednesday morning.

After asking who was at the door, the man said he heard a voice and didn't think that it was his cousin but, according to the report, he opened the door anyway and was confronted by a black man, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and wearing a ski mask, who pointed a handgun at him and tried to force his way inside.

After the resident was able to fully shut the door, he told police, he heard a gunshot and noticed blood dripping from his forehead. He was treated on scene for a graze wound to the right side of his forehead and refused additional treatment, according to the police report.
