Albert Hewitt and Sarah Swatski were presented with a transfer scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each from the Senior Science Society.

Both students will attend University of Maryland Baltimore County. Albert will pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Sarah will major in Applied Mathematics. The Senior Science Society is a self-supporting organization of experienced scientists and engineers that is affiliated with the Harford Community College.

The goal of this organization is to expand, foster and accelerate the appreciation of science and engineering among Harford County youth and the community in general.
