Paul E. Christenson, of Joppa, graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland May 11. He earned a bachelor of arts degree magna cum laude, majoring in history with minors in economics and educational studies. Christenson is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society, and of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the economics honor society. He was awarded an academic scholarship all four years at St. Mary’s and was a member of the Rugby Club, serving in several leadership positions, including field captain from January 2012 to the present. He is entering the M.A.T. program at St. Mary’s with graduation projected in June 2014. His career goals are to teach high school social studies and coach football. Christenson is a 2009 Fallston High School graduate.
