One of 12 children born to the late Anthony and Catherine Cochran, Elmer Cochran is a retired farmer who worked for E.S. Charles Cochran said his uncle, who is also his godfather, is an avid Orioles fan and will be getting an Orioles-themed present at the party the family is having Saturday afternoon.

He said Mickey Cochran has some trouble getting around and uses a walker, but is extremely sharp for a man turning 100.
