Three men remained at large Thursday after robbing a Joppa convenience store at gunpoint earlier in the week.
Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, three men walked into the Joppa Citgo in the 900 block of Old Philadelphia Road armed with handguns, according to a release from Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack.
The men stole an undisclosed amount of money and large quantities of cigarettes and cigars, according to the release.
A clerk was alone in the store at the time and the men assaulted the employee, who was not injured.
Troopers responded to the scene a short time later with police dogs from state police and the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Neither team was able to find the culprits and police believe the men left in a vehicle, according to the release.
The first man is described as possibly white, in his late teens or mid-20s, 6 feet tall and about 175 pounds. He was wearing black pants and a two-tone sweat shirt at the time. The second robber is described as a man, possibly white, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 190 pounds wearing a blue and cream hooded sweat shirt and jeans.
The third robber is described only as someone wearing a blue sweat shirt and black pants.
